BACKGROUND

​

Born from two loving parents on the ice planet Ocrerth however their time together as a family would be short because a few days after Varek's birth their home world was attacked and with nothing more than the clothing on his back, as well as a dark crystal necklace and a sword given to him from his parents he was launched off world in a space capsule and no more than a few hours after the launching of the capsule all who lived on Ocrerth were killed, the capsule drifted in space for several months until Varek was found by the Barrage a Titan Class Starship and from the time when he was found he was raised by the captain and his wife who had no children of their own. While growing up he enjoyed learning and he was even interested in art however where he came from and the items that he was found with was kept a secret among the crew at the age of seventeen, Varek graduated from school aboard the Barrage then a year later he enlisted in the military and after training intensely for more than a few years he achieved the rank of Lieutenant at the age of twenty one, four years later the ship was attacked by space bandits who boarded the Barrage to kill or take prisoners no matter who got in their way Varek fought and killed more than a few bandits before he went in search of his parents.

 

He first found his mother dead in a hallway though he did find his father who was gravely wounded however the man, who Varek had come to know, as his father told him that he was not his father as he was told of when he was found twenty five years ago in a capsule drifting in space with nothing more than clothing and a few items with him. Before dying his adoptive father presented him with a keycard and with his dying breath told him to go to a storage locker in the docking bay and collect the items in it, then to use his personal jump ship to get off of the ship. Varek quickly made his way through the ship killing bandits along the way and upon arriving in the docking bay he used the keycard on the storage locker. Varek collected a necklace with a unique dark crystal and a sword from the locker and then wasted no time in making his way to the jump ship and departed from the Barrage. Though not long after leaving from the ship Varek was placed in a deep sleep and for more than, a few years the jump ship drifted until it entered Terra Prime's orbit and plunged into the sea. Before long it was collected by scientists and soon after it was taken back to their base.

 

Two months later Varek awakened to find himself within a station called the Terra Prime Defense Alliance and not long after waking he wasted no time in escaping his cell, from there he retrieved his belongings including stealing weapons and a suit of armor from the base. He ventured deep within the station where he found The Javelin in a docking bay and upon entering it Varek made his escape. Though it has been four years since that time and while on Terra Prime one night he was attacked. It was then after witnessing his wounds healing themselves, that he knew that he was not human but something much more though a few months later while he was alone Varek had the sudden urge, to shatter the dark crystal in his possession and upon it being shattered on a nearby rock, he gained knowledge of who he was and where he had come from.

 

Now with his origins known to him Varek has continued his travels.

WEAPONS, ATTIRE AND OTHER POSSESSIONS

​

Plasma Long Sword: This sword was imprinted to Varek before the attack on his home world. The blade itself is made of high grade metallic alloy. The plasma energy surrounding the blade can be activated by the touch of his hand, when the plasma energy is emitted along the blade it can cut through anything with the exception of the metallic alloy that the blade is made out of. When deactivated it can be used as a normal weapon.

 

Dual Plasma Machine Pistols: These pistols were created in the weapons development sector of the TPDA laboratory on Earth. These pistols function without ammunition they are also capable of single and rapid fire functions.

 

Plasma Assault Rifle: This rifle was created in the weapons development sector of the TPDA laboratory on Earth. This rifle functions without ammunition and has single, three round and rapid fire functions.​

Normal Attire: Varek prefers to wear dark clothing as such he wears a black sleeveless shirt, black pants with a matching leather belt and a pair of black leather boots.

 

Battle Armor: This armor was created in the defenses development sector of the TPDA laboratory on Earth. This armor consists of a suit of hard leather armor reinforced with layers of protective metallic plates arranged in strips along the entire suit. It offers the same level of protection as Kevlar armor while proving to be lighter and more flexible as leather armor, as it is capable of protecting Varek from simple weaponry including withstanding bullets from small to heavy firearms.

TB-V2 Javelin aka The Javelin: This jump ship was taken by Varek when he was forced to escape from The Barrage when it was attacked by space bandits. It is capable of warp speed up to warp four, it also has shields, a cloaking device as well as a food and drink replicator. It's weapons consists of quad photon blasters and dual photon torpedo bays all of which can be used from the cockpit.

 

Exodus: This hover bike was found on The Javelin and can be summoned through Kashadre. It has blasters as weapons and is capable of traveling on land and water. Exodus's maximum speed is 90mph.

 

Kashadre: This levitating sphere of artificial intelligence is around Varek at all times. It cannot be hacked by any form of technology and is capable of cloaking itself from others. It’s capabilities include Illuminating dark areas up to 200 feet, Hacking both minor and advanced technology, Piloting The Javelin remotely, Summoning Exodus, Forming a shield around Varek to provide additional defense, Warning him of incoming hostile threats as well as Repairing minor and advanced technology.
