VHAMPIR ORIGIN

The Great War of Enoch had lasted for three centuries in the Earth's darkest age when the Army of a Vampiric Monarch went to war with the encroaching Demons of the Ninth Circle. In an effort to at last salvage what remained of the world, a vampire sage captured a Demon Lord and mixed its blood with his own. This resulted in the sage becoming the first of what would be known as the Vhampir. They were experts in their aims, infiltrating the ranks of the Demons and thwarting their Anti-Vampiric weaponry and magic due to their immunities. Knowing the ways of the Demons by getting close enough, to the hierarchy and obtaining priceless information whereas no Vampire could before. As the Vampires intended to use the power of these creatures increasingly.

 

However, that would not be so, as it was not long before the Gates were sealed, and with their purpose gone the Vhampir followed their defeated enemies through the Gates of Hell never to return to Earth again, until now. They are powerful beings for the Vhampir are of mixed heritage and tend to stick to their own, rather than embrace one side of their soul or the other. However, it is not merely impossible to come across a Vhampir within the Demonic or Vampiric ranks, it is extremely rare.

VOCATIONS

Swordsman: Judas is a master in using various types of swords even if they are single or two handed, however he prefers using his own.

 

Sorcery: Over the vast years of studying and using dark magic Judas has acquired many spells of sorcery. Long ago he trained alongside a Sorcerer and from that point on has acquired various spells within his arsenal.

 

Brawler: Having mastered the art of unarmed combat Judas has been known to use various strikes with his hands or feet during combat which can also be used with his sword.

BACKGROUND

[The Early Years]

 

Early in life Judas was a quiet and brooding child. he often kept to himself to avoid getting involved in other's affairs. Agile and athletic, he was primed for physical activity, but at the same time had a keen intuition allowing him the ability to react to situations appropriately instead of relying on physical prowess. Though only thirteen, he faced several challenges both natural and tragic yet he pushed hard to focus on intellectual studies so that he never lacked in the ability to think for himself and acquire knowledge. At fifteen he found himself training alongside his brother Valek under their father's tutor-age in hand to hand combat.

 

Believing that they needed to be strong in self defense, their father purchased swords meant for training and never allowed the two to carry them outside of practices. It seemed life would be prosperous and peaceful for Judas and his family, until tragedy stole his happiness away from him. After returning home alone from training one night he found himself frozen behind a tree at the edge of their property. Before his eyes he witnessed the slaughter of his entire family by assassins who beheaded them all indiscriminately. He later learned that the assassins had been hired by someone whom his father owed money to and had refused to pay back.

 

When the assassins disappeared on horseback into the distance, Judas moved numbly but with purpose into their stable to retrieve his father's well bred black mustang. Saddled up, a snap of the reins had the horse taking Judas in the same direction that his family's killers went. Riding hard, he caught up to them in only a couple hours as he found himself in a foreign place. Just as he thought he'd be able to catch the assassins, he discovered at the rounding of a corner that they'd vanished. Panicked that he'd lost them, he pulled the horse the opposite direction to make sure he'd not misjudged which direction they went when he spotted a new group of people.

 

His body stiffened when he realized exactly what he was staring at, the horse reading his body language also halted... snorting a warning at its own instincts of what was before them. Judas was so terrified that he fell upon instinct instead of reason and drew his blade in self defense. This action however would seal his fate. Before him was a group of vampires, hunger easily readable in their faces. In the center was a female that had locked her eyes upon the boy before her, baring her fangs with a hiss when the boy showed hostility, the well bred mustang poised and ready with the blade in his hand.

 

Suddenly he was overcome as they swarmed him, knocking him off the horse and pinning him as his father's horse was ripped apart and drained before his eyes. Though he fought bravely, wounding the vampires numerous times with the wild swings of his sword, he was no match for them. The female remained in the distance still watching him as he finally lost consciousness.

 

[Death and Rebirth]

 

Much to his surprise and confusion, he found himself opening his eyes. He was alive. The Victorian style room he awoke in was nothing he recognized and when he sat up, the room seemed 'alive.' Every detail, down to the wood grain was visible to him and as he rose to his feet he found himself drawn to a large painting of a man he didn't know. After a while of examining it, he finally moved on and decided to access the 'damage' of the ordeal he'd just been through. Upon viewing his reflection he at first didn't recognize the man looking back at him. No... it was no man, this 'creature' was too pale and had drastically changed features that were not him. Yet it was him.

 

Pale, angular, with sunken dark eyes. With dread, it finally dawned on him that he must have been asleep much longer than he realized and worst... that he had been changed into the very creatures he'd thought had killed him. One he never sought to become. A creature of the night. Countless years later he realized the consequences of his rebirth. Growing to live with what he'd become, as he forced himself to ascend instead of wither. His skill was affirmed the day he became a commander of the Vhampirian army for his loyalty and saving several of the Elders from certain death by enemy armies.

 

In the presence of his maker Xanerhoust as well as his brethren, Judas was offered the blood of the nine original Vhampirian Elders. Upon drinking their blood he was transformed into a Vhampir and now surpassed his vampiric brethren in power.

WEAPONS, ATTIRE AND OTHER POSSESSIONS

Vhampirian Blade: This sword is a custom forged longsword with an unusual broad blade and was given to Judas long ago, when he was human by his father. Many years later it was reforged using Vhampirian steel when he was transformed into a vampire, the sword can be used either as a single or two handed weapon and is located in a sheath upon his back.

 

Daemonic Blade[Demonic Longsword]: Judas's sword changes whenever he transforms into his daemonic form or uses his daemonic power to transform the weapon. During it's transformed state numerous ancient demonic runes appear along the length of the blade while the weapon changes in both length and design.

 

Vhampirian Plate Armor: A near full set of gothic full plate armor that covers almost his entire body. The armor itself has Vhampirian symbols etched upon various parts of the armor.

Normal Attire: Judas's clothing consists of a loose fitting black sleeveless tunic and matching black trousers with a leather belt, calf high black leather boots and black leather trench coat.

Dreagaen Family Signet Ring: A ring made of sterling silver with the Dreagaen familial letter in gold. Generally worn on the middle finger of his right hand.

House of Valentius Amulet: An amulet primarily made of sterling silver with the Valentius symbol in gold.

 

Vhampirian Cloak: A simple black hooded cloak.

 

NATURAL ABILITIES

Telekinesis: In time when he was turned into a vampire and became familiar with the abilities that he had. This ability allows Judas to move or stop objects, whether they were projectile spells, small solid objects or creatures who were as big as a humanoid. Since becoming a Vhampir his telekinesis has enhanced allowing to pick up or move things twice as more than his weight.

 

Telepathy: In time when he was turned into a vampire and became familiar with the abilities that he had. This ability allows Judas to communicate telepathically with anyone. Since becoming a Vhampir his Telepathy has enhanced allowing him to communicate telepathically with anyone, however they must be within a radius of three hundred feet yet he only uses this ability only to people he knows.

 

Empathy: In time when he was turned into a vampire and became familiar with the abilities that he had. This ability allows Judas to hear the thoughts of others. Since becoming a Vhampir his Empathy has enhanced allowing him to hear the thoughts of others as long as they are within a radius of two hundred feet. However, he only uses this ability whether or not he needs to know that someone is keeping or hiding something from him.

 

Charm: In time when he was turned into a vampire and became familiar with the abilities that he had. This ability allows Judas to temporarily control the mind of others into doing what he wants them to do. Since becoming a Vhampir his Charm over others has enhanced however if the person still has a strong mind he must concentrate a little harder so that he can breakthrough their mental barrier.

 

Vhampirian Vision: In time when he was turned into a vampire and became familiar with the abilities that he had. This ability allows Judas to see concealed wounds under armor and clothing or see in any darkened area. however being a Vhampir his vision is enhanced allowing him to see much farther in all darkened areas.

 

Vhampirian Senses: In time when he was turned into a vampire and became familiar with the abilities that he had. These abilities are natural to Judas causing his sense of sight to heighten allowing him to see much farther than any human, his sense of hearing allows him to hear anything from a distance of three hundred yards. his sense of awareness allows him to feel the presence of others who may be nearby.

 

Regeneration: In time when he was turned into a vampire and became familiar with the abilities that he had. This ability is natural to Judas causing any wounds inflicted upon his flesh to slowly heal or broken bones to mend over time. Since becoming a Vhampir his regeneration factor has enhanced allowing all injuries to heal quicker than they normally would.

 

Daemonic Form: In time when he was turned into a Vhampir and became familiar with the abilities that he had. This form is natural to the Vhampir as it allows them to transform into a demon with large leathery wings.

 

Bat Form: In time when he was turned into a vampire and became familiar with the abilities that he had. This form is natural to the Vhampir as it allows them to transform into a horde of bats which acts as a means of transport taking them wherever they may need to go.

 

Wolf Form: In time when he was turned into a vampire and became familiar with the abilities that he had. This form is natural to the Vhampir as it allows them to transform into an agile wolf or a large bipedal wolf with incredible strength.

 

Mist Form: In time when he was turned into a vampire and became familiar with the abilities that he had. This form is natural to the Vhampir as it allows them to transform into a cloud of mist making them seem somewhat transparent.

MAGIC

Shadow Step: When this spell is used it allows Judas to call forth darkness and shadows to teleport him anywhere he has been previously. However over the years Judas has mastered this power allowing him to teleport much further than he normally could.

 

Crimson Lash: When this spell is used it allows Judas to produce a crimson whip from either hand to attack one or multiple foes.

 

Fireball: When this spell is used it allows Judas to summon a single fireball into either hand when thrown the fireball will set anything that it touches on fire.

 

Hell's Pyre: When this spell is used it allows Judas to summon a large powerful fireball into either hand when thrown the fireball splits into three.

 

Exploding Fireball: When this spell is used it allows Judas to summon a large powerful fireball into either of his hands upon launching it causes whatever it collides with to explode upon impact. Note: It is possible for him to create a dark version of this magic.

 

Enchant: When this spell is used it allows Judas to infuse any weapon that he has in his possession with elemental fire or lightning either to assault his enemies or using a swipe from the weapon sending an arc toward them. Note: It is possible for him to create a dark version of this magic.

 

Elemental Blast: When this spell is used it allows Judas to conjure a medium sized orb of Fire or Lightning within his hands. The orb when released unleashes a large elemental wave toward his enemies. Note: It is possible for him to create a dark version of this magic.

 

Tempest: When this spell is used it allows Judas to summon a lightning storm which rains down several bolts of lightning upon his enemies.

 

Inferno: When this spell is used it allows Judas to conjure a huge column of flame to burn his enemies.

 

Chain Lightning: When this spell is used it allows Judas to emit a bolt of lightning from his fingertips which arcs toward his enemies.

 

Daemonic Blast: Through the many years of sorcery this spell requires Judas to gather daemonic power between his hands, which subsequently takes the form of a large, dark red orb. When released a large wave of dark energy rushes toward his enemies. When gathered in one hand the blast is less powerful however when in both hands the blast is powerful enough to reduce a building to rubble.

Daemonic Bomb: Through the many years of sorcery this spell requires Judas to absorb some of his daemonic power to conjure dark red energy into the palm of his hands which would begin to quickly form into a large sphere that can be thrown at his enemies.

 

Shadow Scythe: Through the many years of sorcery this spell allows Judas to summon scythes of living shadows using them by hurling either single or multiple shadow scythes at an enemy.

 

Bone Projectile: Through the many years of necromancy this spell allows Judas to call forth several long razor sharp spears made of human bone which he then sends toward an enemy. These razor sharp bones are known to strip flesh from his enemies.

 

Bone Prison: Through the many years of necromancy this spell allows Judas to call forth several large reinforced bones from the ground below surrounding and imprisoning his enemies within a cage of human bones.
